We took our children there, one 3 and one 5. We went to the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Butterfly Show, and then let the children play in the shade of the Rose Garden. They were only interested in the shuttle itself for about two minutes, but there are other things to see here. They loved dinosaurs and butterflies. They were happy for more than three hours, which was great. Need to buy tickets in advance. Many things need to pay a separate admission fee. I only noticed that the parking fee was $12. Excellent museum but located in the city's transport center, so adjust the itinerary accordingly.

I was quite surprised when I turned around and saw "Jeffersonian" (Jefferson Society), and I was absolutely captivated. If you are a fan of the TV series "Bone Finding", you will definitely recognize the famous museum and laboratory photos of the show (at both ends of the Rose Garden). Now I know why there's never an outdoor shot in the winter in Washington DC.
