Small building to view but not worth a special visit as you only need 10 minutes to see. There is a toilet and picnic area nearby. Some good views around.
The trip to Skippers Canyon was very spectacular and the history of the gold rush fascinating. The school had been well restored with pictures of pupils and staff of the period.
We were searching for the school and bridge over the Shotover but it was impossible to get to. All tracks down to the old school said 'Private Property ' & 'No entry'.
