A very popular Tibetan-style monastery, must be visited in Darjeeling. It was built by a Mongolian astrologer in 1850 and has statues of Maitreya Bodhisattva in the monastery. The temple has a counter selling local incense sticks, and ladies sell woolen and other items at the monastery's gates and stairs.
