Heming Mountain is the home of Chinese Taoism, and is considered a well-known Taoist Mountain. It got its name because the mountain is shaped like a crane; in addition, there are stone crane buildings and actual cranes living in the mountain. There are several tall old cypress trees that are well-known. One of the trees is said to be planted by Zhang Sanwei. There are also historical signs of many ancient Taoism practitioners living here, including Zhang Daoling. It is a great place to experience the ancient yet profound Taoism culture.
