    Shangqing Palace is a Taoist temple in the Qingcheng Mountains. It was built in the Jin Dynasty and the existing temples were built during the Tongzhi period (1862-1874) in the Qing Dynasty. The three characters of the "Shangqing Gong" on the gate of the gatehouse were written by Chiang Kai-shek in 1940.
