    Check out the pelicans

    There is signage in this area giving you a bit of history of the inlet, plenty of parking available, and is a great spot to check out the pelicans on the edge of the riverbank.

    Stunning views

    Lovely walk around the inlet, good track, great views, plenty to see - beautiful clear water, we even spotted an osprey

    You don't need a boat to enjoy it.

    My wife and I live just over the hill from the Inlet so we often walk along the Heritage trail with our dog. It's great to get out amongst the trees, away from the house and look out over the expanse ...

    Nice picnic spot.

    We passed her and stopped on our way back ,this seems to be a good spot for fishing as there were plenty trying there luck and a few catching Snapper.
