Shilong Museum

The Shilong Museum is a private collection museum jointly organized by the Shilong Town Government and private collectors. There are nearly 4,000 cultural relics in the collection, which are divided into furniture, porcelain, calligraphy and painting, etc., mainly from Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, the "Black Lacquer Shoushan Stone Nine Picture Five Screens" in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties is an extremely rare traditional decorative handicraft with important historical, artistic and collection value. In addition, there are more than 300 pairs (sets) of ancient famous plaques and couplets, including the handwritings of Liu Yong, Wang Wenzhi, Weng Fanggang, Zheng Banqiao and Mi Fu. Relying on the collection of cultural relics, the museum set up a Ming and Qing classical furniture factory to produce classical furniture for private collections, creating a new model of running a museum with the factory supporting the museum and promoting the factory with the museum.
