What people are saying:

Antique style, the most pitted place is that the front side is free to enter, parking is free, and the parking fee at the front entrance is 10 yuan, and tickets are also required. It is a bit wasteful to not be able to take a cruise, and there is no reasonable plan.

Additional Information

Introduction

Sujiawei is located in the Suwei Village of the town of Yihe, in Dongyuan County, Heyuan. It is a settlement of the descendants of Su Dongpo (1037-1101), the great writer of the Song Dynasty. In this small village visitors will have close encounters with authentic Hakka culture, while experiencing more than 800 years of history and culture, simple rural scenes, original Hakka cuisine, and the 18 “mansion-style” houses built during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1912) Dynasties. As they enjoy the natural simplicity of Hakka culture, visitors may further appreciate the tranquil landscape of Sujiawei, a picturesque village beautifully situated next to the meeting place of the Dong River and the Jiushe River.
