War Memorial Gardens

One of Europe's most famous Memorial Gardens is dedicated to the memory of the 49,400 Irish soldiers who died in the First World War (1914-1918). So the soldiers'names are carved in granite chambers on the side of the park. In addition to commemorating the deceased, the garden also has a unique architectural style and artistic beauty. The garden is not only small, but also exquisite and carefully designed. In the middle is a huge ladder flower bed.

For the garden of love and freedom - War Memorial Gardens are a colorful impression of flowers at the very first mention of the garden for most people. Yet it is hard for me to imagine how war and gardens are combined, a bit contrary to these two terms, one painful, one for the good. When you first arrive at the War Memorial Garden, you can still feel the sadness of the war. This is used to remember the Irish soldiers who died for Ireland in the First World War. The designer designed a huge cross waterwheel in the middle area. The overall shape is very solemn and the whole environment is beautiful and quiet. The garden is small but not too delicate. I think the reason why I use the garden rather than the memorial is that the Irish people sacrificed their respect and commemoration for the national heroes who sacrificed their love for Ireland and their yearning for Irish freedom, so sacrificed themselves to defend Ireland, Their actions deserve the memory of the Irish people for generations to come. For us foreigners, visiting the memorial garden, in addition to enjoying the architectural design of the garden, let us not forget the bitter war, remind people how precious love and peace are.
