Very good, the castle feels like back when her owner was there, everything is very well preserved, just like going back in time, you must go and see, the ticket is 20 NZ dollars, cost-effective, I will recommend it to me All friends who travel to New Zealand
The location of the old house is very high, it is a bit tired to climb up. From the side of the old house, you can overlook the port of Otago. The garden of the old house is beautiful, and the garage is shining with the old vintage cars. The old house was designed by the London architect George and was built between 1904-1906 for the businessman and family of David Xiouming. The appearance of the ancient house is simple and elegant, which is a typical Scottish architecture. This is a house with superb construction craftsmanship. The stairs in the house are not used even a single nail. The exquisitely decorated building has 35 rooms of different sizes. The interior decoration and layout are kept intact, displaying the valuable oil paintings, furniture and artworks collected by the owner. The entrance ticket is $19, and you cannot take pictures inside.
Beautiful scenery and ancient houses, if you can live here, this life is enough.
