    ROCK SOLID

    Some substructure has been kept but mainly it is the high-and 3m thick-walls to appreciate. Yet again restaurants and shops have taken over the interior, giving the area a viable presence.

    Its free to see it , inside of elbasan castle is a big restorant . Is a small Fortess but its nice for a walk there

    The remains of the old Fortress.

    The isn't much but the main wall of the fortress facing the street, but that is an active pedestrian are a with many cafes, restaurants and shops. The people of the city are out walking most evenings...

    Worth a look

    This is only a small fortress from the 15th century that now has a restuarant inside but it is worth seeing and it is free.
