Bus number 83 off the train station. Spectacular day trip from Nice.
Almost surreal. The bus ride up and then perhaps 5000 more steps but who cares, the views, gardens, architecture, design shops, the history of being in a fortress, the fine dining, ice cream and..... ...

Avoid
Tourist trap with bad overpriced food and nothing to see or do. Just overpriced shops. Horrible food, could not eat it. Waste of time and money. Obviously frozen fish and chip and served lukewarm.
Good for SUP
The beach is not as beautiful as in Villefranche-sur-Mer but less people. With the SUP we paddled to a cave nearby. Great experience
