Miaogao Platform

Miaogaotai, also known as Miao Peak and Tianzhu Peak, is the main landscape in Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area. Although the altitude is only 396 meters, it is backed by the mountains, raised in the middle, cliffs on three sides, and the terrain is very steep. The narrowly defined Miaogaotai refers to a platform of about 350 square meters, standing at the forefront of the platform, overlooking the natural scenery of the lake under the pavilion. The ancient trees around Miaogaotai are dense, green bamboos cover the sun, and the cool breeze is an ideal summer resort.

Miao Gaotai is a man's villa built by Chiang Kai-shek. In 1927, Chiang Kai-shek first went down to the wild and returned to Li, and chose the wonderful place of Xuedou Mountain. He built a two-story villa with a wall between China and the West, and mentioned "Miao Gaotai" for it.

The summer resort built by Chiang Kai-shek is not very big. The location is halfway up the mountain, there is a lake in front, there is a mountain in the back, the vegetation cover is also very good, the environment is also very quiet, but unfortunately he did not enjoy it for a few years.
