Great hiking that is very convenient to Franschhoek! Well-maintained trails, lots of wildflowers, convenient parking area.

Beautiful Hike
Beautiful nature reserve for hiking. Opens at 9am but can go earlier and just pay when you get back down. We did the Uitkyk trail about 6km in just over two hours. Beautiful flora! Proteas everywhere!...
Great walks
The walk takes about 3 hours and the view at the end is unbelievable. Medium difficulty, some parts are climbing. Buy your ticket online.
One of the best reserves!
I have done the Dutoiskop and Uitkyk trail. Both fantastic although Dutoitskop more challenging. Uitkyk view is wonderful - an absolute must!
