    So much packed into one area

    Great easy hike! Wild flowers, running stream, mountain views and a lake with beaches all in one hike. 1.5 miles out and back via Miners Creek trail.

    Overrated large pond

    The 1.1-mile hike is nicely shaded in woods with a moderate uphill slant. There are several crossing hiking paths to a ranch. They are redoing a wooden path that doesn't need replacement at the start....

    Wildlife with a view

    What a great hiking trail. We hiked up to Rainbow Lake and on the way back we encountered wildlife. 3 Moose grazing, walked across the trail, looked at us and decided we were not a threat and continue...

    Easy and beautiful hike

    This is a easy and family friendly hike. There is a little bit of incline, but nothing serious. The view at the lake is very nice and we even saw a moose in the water once.
