Lake Geneva is considered as Central Europe’s largest lake between France and Switzerland. As your train moves nearer here, you will start to spot houses resembling French architecture rather than Swiss-style architecture. Visitors usually enjoy the cruise to notable sights, including the emblem of the city of Geneva, the “Jet d’eau”, up to 140metre high eater fountain in the middle of the lake. Geneva itself is a diplomatic hub with many luxury shops and cobbled old town. On the southern end, you can also visit the spa town and resort of Evian-les-Bains or Lausanne, Montreux and Vevey. #eurotrip

#EuroTrip - Small French Medieval Village Located on the border with Switzerland, Yvoire is a quaint and flowery medieval village in the south-eastern region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in France. It is also situated on the French shores of Lake Geneva as well. Yvoire is also touted as one of France’s most beautiful villages, locally nicknamed the “Pearl/Gem of Lake Geneva”. The preserved and fortified village is famous for its floral display too and has been awarded by the International Trophy for Landscape and Horticulture. Take a walk along the village's historical cobblerstoned narrow streets and proceed to the beautiful waterfront with splendid views of Lake Geneva as well. Enjoy the magnificent sights the village and the waterfront has to offer. Remember to take tons of insta shots too ! Yvoire is now ranked as one of the International Laureates of Floral Decorations, and is a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. A speciality of Yvoire is their filet de perche from Lake Geneva. So do give it a try when you visit. All the restaurants there serve it lol. The taste is also good😋 📍Flower Clock➡️📍Jet d'Eau➡️📍Lake Geneva The above three attractions are almost together, walking aimlessly along the lake, it's really comfortable, Lake Geneva is very very clear, you can sit/lie by the lake and waste time🥹 I love drinking and watching the lake observing the human vibe🫶🏻 📍Old Town Citywalk Depending on the time, I wandered around the small shops, bought some souvenirs, but didn't go to the church (I'm already immune to European churches🥲) 📍United Nations Palace of Nations🇺🇳➡️📍Broken Chair The Broken Chair is opposite the United Nations, you can check in and take photos, the United Nations should be able to make an appointment for a visit (those who want to go in can find out) 🥣: For dinner, we chose the Swiss specialty cheese pot🫕 Les Brasseurs (right next to Geneva train station, very convenient) The taste is good, only a little bit smelly, with potatoes🥔 it's quite fragrant, but it's a bit greasy if you eat too much. Hello, travel enthusiasts, today I am here to share my 4-day 3-night essence itinerary in Switzerland. After reading this article, I believe you will definitely not get lost when traveling in Switzerland! 💖 First of all, planning the idea of traveling to Switzerland is very important! My suggestion is to choose the mountain you mainly want to go to (First/Jungfrau), the lake you want to play (Brienz/Thun), the small town you want to see (Grindelwald/Longjiang/Lauterbrunnen/Spiez), and then look at the tickets for Zurich and Geneva, and then make the route in and out of Switzerland. Day1️⃣: London✈️➡️Geneva Depart in the morning and fly to Geneva. It takes about 40 minutes to queue when entering the country. However, you can vaguely see the continuous snow-capped mountains in the distance at the airport, which makes me very excited! So, I took the bus directly to the United Nations Palace of Nations. 🇺🇳 Seeing the national flags of various countries at the entrance of the Palace of Nations, I really had some real feelings about the legendary United Nations. Then, we took the train to Bern.
