Hiked around the main lake on December 5...I love the fact that there are rocks and roots on the trail. It adds a degree of difficulty that was welcome. You have to pay attention which is good. I was ...
A lot to do and kids of all ages busy, not just swimming but, hiking, fishing, etc. open in the winter too and has snowmobiling and hiking/biking trails. Also Picnic areas and a baseball field!

Kayaks and lunch
Beautiful lake. Gets a little crowded on the beach, but the water was fine. $8/car to get in. They rent canoes and kayaks. Plenty of picnic tables.
