Trafalgar Square is a well-known landmark in London, appreciated for its historical importance, beautiful architecture, and cultural significance. It serves as a central meeting point and a hub for various events, performances, and demonstrations. The prominent Nelson's Column, guarded by four lion statues, is a highlight of the square.
Visitors often praise the square's open space and the chance to sit on the steps or benches, enjoying views of the surrounding attractions, such as the National Gallery. The fountains, especially the famous Fourth Plinth, where contemporary art installations are displayed, add to the overall appeal of the place.

This is by far the best square in London. The beauty of this place is simply unparalleled. Four big lions and beautiful fountains add spectacular views to this place. When we went in the afternoon, it was crowded with tourists. The National Gallery is right on the square. I took some pretty pictures of this place. You can sit by the fountain for hours drinking coffee or eating a waffle ice cream.
After visiting the National Gallery, visit Trafalgar Square outside the gallery. On the day of the visit, there were different types of street performances, paintings of the ground with pink pens and a somewhat strange flower-shaped fountain in the water color.

Trafalgar Square is one of the better places to see in London, especially during Christmas time. The market set up for Christmas was definitely worth stopping by. The food there is amazing!
