Guanshan lake Park is located in the finance district of Jinyang. It is a very big park, large enough that if you walk around the longest marked path, you’ll walk more than 8 kilometers. It is filled with many beautiful landmarks and scenic spots. There is a very beautiful lake housed inside, and places to relax and chill alongside the water. There is a fitness part with different kinds of immovable gym equipment. You’ll see most adults and the aged running and some walking. There are different activities for kids, as well as an interesting maze. There is a bridge that cuts through the park, which I think is the main attraction of the park. There are also a few places to get food. The park is green, and decorated with many beautiful plants and flowers. Towards the end of the green fitness path, one can see red flowers with the 12 Chinese zodiac signs. It’s definitely a nice place to go and relax with friends, family and loved ones. There was not a single mention of Guanshan Lake Park in the travel guides before I went, it really is an overlooked treasure of a park! Guizhou's attractions are quite scattered, so for the convenience of taking buses, I chose a hotel near Guiyang North Station. On the last day after checking out, I thought about strolling around and revisited Qianling Mountain Park (this time I took the hiking trail from the East Gate), and finished around 3:30 PM. There was still time, and just when I looked at the map, I discovered Guanshan Lake Park, haha, I took a taxi there and arrived after 4 PM. The light from 4:30 PM to 6 PM was really beautiful, and every photo turned out great. I couldn't make it to Hemu to see the autumn scenery, so rounding up here, I guess I have also experienced the golden October. I recommend those who want to visit Guizhou not to miss this hidden gem of a park!
