Wanshou Palace

＂ Wanshou Palace ＂ also known as: Tianzhu Palace, also known as: Jiangxi Assembly Hall, for Taoist Palace View, located at No. 3 West Street, Qingyan Ancient Town, Guiyang. According to the "Guiyang Mansion Zhi": Wanshou Palace was built by Jiangxi Kemin Collection in 43 years (1778), and then became ＂ Jiangxi Assembly Hall ＂, and changed to Taoist Temple during Jiaqing. Jiaqing three years (1796) and Daoguang 12 years (1832) were rebuilt. The area is 1100 square meters, the whole palace is located east to west, is the main hall, the hall, the two boxes, the theater building and the living area of the complex. The main hall gate is a color relief, there are nine Taoist immortal statues, bright colors, the characters are lifelike. The unique wooden sculpture of the hanging columns under the mouth of the opera house is exquisitely carved and elegantly artistic. During the period of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Zhejiang University was once running here.

Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou, is located in the southern suburbs of Guiyang City, 29 kilometers away from the city. At the intersection of the back street and Ximing and Qing Street, the appearance is magnificent, the painted sculpture image of the eight immortals on the door is very cute, and the center is Taishang Laojun. Wanshou Palace is also one of the few toll attractions in Qingyan Ancient Town that have not been repaired. After entering the door, you will see a big stage. This is more distinctive. It sits east to west, covering a total area of more than 1,000 square meters, but most of the buildings were destroyed in the "cultural revolution", and most of them were later rebuilt. The most impressive thing in the palace is the opera house, which is beautifully carved. On the wooden beam on the right side of the theater building, a group of high relief characters are most famous, the content is "Hongmen Banquet" "Ten-sided ambush" "Embassy" and so on, which is very military cultural characteristics.
