Orioles Singing in the Willows is one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. It is located on the side of Nanshan Road on the southeast bank of West Lake. Extending from Yongjin Gate to Qingbo Gate, it is divided into four scenic areas. It is a large garden with a main view of spring flowers. The long embankment along the lake and the main road are planted with different willows, such as weeping willows, lion willows and drunk willows. It also has the name of “land of willows”, during which orioles fly and compete to sing, so it is known as "orioles singing in the willows."
