Zhejiang Hangzhou Yun Song Bookstore

Yun Song Bookstore is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and was built by the famous writer Mr. Cha Liangyong (Jin Yong) at a cost of tens of millions. The entire bookstore consists of buildings such as 'Geng Yun Xuan', 'Yu Lan Ting', 'Song Feng Ming Yue Lou', 'Shang Xin Zhai' and 'Ting Song Ting'. 'Geng Yun Xuan' is the place where Mr. Jin Yong meets guests and gathers elegantly. The door is inscribed with a couplet written by Mr. Jin Yong himself, 'Flying snow shoots white deer, laughing book god chivalrous leaning on green mandarin duck', which is a combination of the first characters of his works, which are very interesting. Yun Song Bookstore is built in the unique courtyard style of Jiangnan, with white walls and black eaves. From the outside, the garden does not seem large, but once you step inside, the main buildings divide the entire garden into different scenic areas, which are deep and winding, and fascinating. Building layout: The architectural layout of Yun Song Bookstore is dominated by natural wild fun, including mountains, ponds, islands, flowers, stones, pavilions, halls, pavilions, rockeries, and then connected by winding corridors. The corridor is adorned with different styles of window frames. Walking under each window frame reveals different landscapes, some are bamboo forests, some are dense osmanthus trees, vigorous pines, or swaying potted plants. The plaque on the main gate is the handwriting of Mr. Wang Daohan, which is free and easy but strong, and quite literati temperament. Stepping into the first door, there are corridors on the left and right, and a patio in the middle. On the right wall is a large bluestone, which is the 'Yun Song Bookstore Stele', which records the construction process of the bookstore. According to the inscription in the bookstore, Yun Song Bookstore was funded and built by Mr. Cha Liangyong (Jin Yong), a well-known person in Hong Kong. The original intention of Mr. Jin Yong to build Yun Song Book Society is 'for the purpose of collecting books, writing and gathering literati.' Bookstore layout: Yun Song Bookstore is located between Xizi Lake in Hangzhou and Beigaofeng, at the starting point of 'Nine Miles Yun Song', one of the eighteen scenes of Qiantang River in Hangzhou, and next to the stele pavilion of 'Shuangfeng Chaoyun', one of the ten scenes of West Lake by Emperor Kangxi's imperial pen. It was originally part of Hangzhou Botanical Garden. The courtyard is deep, the flowers are fragrant and the birds are singing, it is undoubtedly a secluded place for reading. Yun Song Bookstore is a Suzhou garden layout, with white walls and black eaves, pavilions, towers, water pavilions, and ponds. The first entrance is the guest hall 'Geng Yun Xuan', the second entrance is the study 'Shang Xin Zhai' and the main building 'Song Feng Ming Yue Lou', which are connected by corridors. The corridor is adorned with different styles of window frames. Walking under each window frame reveals different landscapes, some are bamboo forests, some are dense osmanthus trees, vigorous pines. The walls of the corridor are also carved with wall paintings of Jin Yong's fifteen novels, from Jing Ge Ge to Qiao Bangzhu Linghu Chong Wei Xiaobao Chen Jialuo, all are vivid. The bookstore does not sell tickets, tourists come and go freely, the breeze is coming, the pine and bamboo are slightly moving, although it is located in the downtown, but the surrounding environment is beautiful, like a paradise in the world.
