Jiulong Temple, also known as Xuanwu Temple or Zhenwu Temple, is named because it is located among the nine peaks at the foot of Zijin Mountain, 1.5 kilometers northwest of Hejin New City. It faces Hugang in the east, Longmen in the west, Fen River in the south, and purple gold in the north. It is unknown when the temple was founded. According to the existing data, the Yuan and Ming dynasties paid homage to Zhenwu God in the North Pole. The construction of the Zhenwu Temple was unprecedented at that time, so it is suspected that it was built at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty at the latest. Ming Wanli and Qing Kangxi, Daoguang, Xianfeng, Tongzhi years were all rebuilt or added. In 1981, Hejin City carried out rescue repairs on it, which made the temple look brand new. The nine peaks are shaped like a dragon, commonly known as the Nine Dragons Head, and because of the green pines and cypresses all over the hills, the purple rhythm is quiet, and it was called "Wolonggang" far before Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. When they created Chongwen Pavilion and Chunyang Cave, they named it "Lindao". Jiulong Temple is located on Lindao, covering an area of more than 12,000 square meters. The mountain in front of the temple has a steep slope towards the temple with more than 160 steps. Climb it, enter the mountain gate, pass the stage, pass through the east and west corridors of the temple courtyard, and then climb more than 20 steps to the incense pavilion (reconstructed during the Qianlong period), with a gold plaque on the front. The book is called "Megatron Heihe". Behind the incense pavilion is the Hall of Dedication. The seat of the hall faces north, with three rooms wide, two rooms deep, and one room across the monastery from east to west. After crossing the corridor, you will enter the main hall. There are 8 clay sculptures around it, which are the guards of Zhenwu. From the main hall to the harem is the Zhenwu Shenge. From the Xiandian to the northwest, there are Lvzu Chunyang Cave, Xianting Pavilion, Yaowang Temple and Chongwen Pavilion. After passing through the Jade Emperor Pavilion, Ziwei Emperor, Sangong, Sanhuang Cave, Laojun Palace, passing the Nantianmen and going up the plank road, you reach the peak Chaotian Palace (destroyed).
