It is a small park located near the edge of Waikiki. There are statues here and there in Waikiki, but is this the second most famous of successive kings after Kamehameha the Great? There is a statue of the king "King Karakaua". If you have time, it may be fun to visit the statues.
I don't think many people come here for the purpose, but the greenery and flowers are beautiful as many parks do. I only walked by once this time, but Hawaii has a healing even in a small park.
It is a small triangular park at the branch of Kuhio and Karakaua when you come from the direction of Ala Moana. On a nice morning, I took a walk with Kuhio Street ~ Gateway Park ~ Karakaua Street ... It was in the middle of the city, but it was refreshing because it was lush and early in the morning. The cleaning young man was cleaning quickly.

Bronze statue
