Forty-five minutes from West Glacier and worth a stop. Visitors' Center documents the construction of the damn. Restrooms available. Natural beauty of the resevoir to be appreciated.
Simply beautiful, and the museum is extremely interesting with lots of good handouts. Great way to spend a few hours away from the crowds at West Glacier.

Stunning beauty
Simply beautiful experience! We were able to photograph an eagle's nest near the reservoir. Walking the dam is quite interesting and informative.

Hungry Horse Dam
This is a must do stop. It is gorgeous there. Go to the visitor center and walk across the dam. It was so lovely.
