Ganghwa Island has beautiful scenery and very economical consumption. There are many seats to rest on the way. The environment is comfortable, clean and the air is super good.
Incheon, Healing, Cultural Heritage Ganghwa Island Day Tour
Located in the Demilitarized Zone on the outskirts of Seoul, UNESCO relics, mud beaches.
From Seoul, you can reach Ganghwa Island in Incheon in 1 hour. Ganghwa Island is the nearest observatory in North Korea. Here you can see North Korean farmers and towns. Plus the UNESCO World Heritage Dolmen and Ganghwa History Museum. Very historic.
Very accessible by car from Seoul! It's really nice to drive around the island, as it has a nice village feel. I especially recommend stopping by the Seongmodo Mineral Hot spring, which is an outdoor hot spring. It was really refreshing and it's nice to be outdoor. The beach on the island isn't really memorable though as the water was really muddy.
Ganghwado, also known by its native name Ganghwa Island is a South Korean island in the estuary of the Han River. It is in the Yellow Sea, off Korea's west coast. The island is separated from Gimpo by a narrow channel spanned by two bridges, and from Kaesong in North Korea by the main channel of the Han River.
It's also a little historic place to see.
Ganghwa Island is the fifth largest island in South Korea and is connected to the land by a bridge. There are many historical monuments here, and some are prehistoric. There are a lot of specialty products on the island, but the traffic is really not very convenient, the air is very good, it is very suitable for outdoor travel.
There are a lot of seafood on the island, seafood porridge, seafood noodles, shells, which are used for grilling, which is not bad. The price is also cheaper than in Seoul. I asked my classmates, I said this grilled seafood is available in Seoul? My classmates said, there are some, but they are not fresh here.
