This is actually a memorial square to commemorate those who participated in the First World War, Second World War, Korean War, Malayan War, Vietnam War, and the Battle of Borneo from southern New Zealand. The square is right next to the main road and is easy to find.
There are several large and small Christian churches in Inver Cargill, South Island, New Zealand, which is one of them. The church is built across from the Warrior Monument Park. The memorial is dedicated to the soldiers who participated in 1948-1972 wars from the South.
