    Beautiful gardens and views!

    In addition to the gardens, we saw scarlet macaws, toucans, and a lineated woodpecker. On the way down, we saw a Coati cross the road. Four wheel drive recommended.

    Wish I had known…

    Restaurant closed. No butterflies, 6k of dirt/gravel roads. Beautiful drive up the mountain. We don’t pay $20PP to see gardens.

    Botanical Gardens

    The gardens are beautiful with nice walking paths. Many many tropical plants. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. It is a wonderful place to explore the rainforest if you’re time is limited.
