This temple with a gleam of Indian style (sikkara) is located on the top of the hill, in the middle of more than 50 sanctuary all with a linge inside.

It is located in Pashpatinate, famous for its Hindu sanctuary and crematorium. Crossing the bridge over the Baghmati River and climbing the stone steps in front of you, you will find several old temples surrounded by forests and many pagodas. This temple is marked by a white pagoda that is not found in the surrounding temples.

The Goraknat Temple is located in the forest of Murgastali in Pashpatinate. There is a Gorkanat Temple dedicated to Shiva, which stands on the forest stairs through the stone pagoda of the upper temple. It's a long and narrow building, so you'll soon notice its existence. It's a mysterious feeling that monkeys are flying around in a quiet forest.
