The Shihe State Open-Air Museum in the south of Kiel exhibits 70 houses with typical local traditional styles on 40 acres of land, as well as fields, gardens and ponds. Of course, there are indispensable furniture at the time, even for clarity. Reflecting the lifestyle and characteristics of the people in northern Germany at that time, animals were also raised.
The Shihezhou Open-Air Museum exhibited more than a dozen houses with local characteristics, as well as pastoral and gardens.

The Shihe State Open Air Museum, located on the outskirts of Kiel, is a group of local traditional historical and ancient houses. Buildings of ancient houses record the ancient history of Kiel. There are introductions to the local people’s lifestyle and traditional customs beside the houses.
