The Aquaria KLCC is an oceanarium located at the base of the Petronas Twin Towers Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The Aquaria has been likened architecturally to the Sydney Opera House. Thousands of species of marine life are on display, with a focus primarily on tropical fish from Malaysia's surrounding oceans. The aquarium has two very well-known exhibits, including a tall tube tank at the center of the building. In addition to all sorts of colorful fish, the tank also has the roots of a giant tree growing out of it. The other popular exhibit is the shark-feeding show which takes place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3 p.m.
