This is a must-visit place in Langkawi Island. Very close to Kuah, Jungle Bay Beach is only 500 meters away from Kuah Road. The Mariaman Temple is 1,000 meters away. Here is picturesque and there are beautiful Buddha bone relics. The White Buddha on a natural rock is the main attraction. I am from Johor, Malaysia. I have lived in the UK for many years. Two years ago, I was led by my family on a self-driving trip with my family. When I arrived here, there are few people here and the environment is quiet. Come around and feel my tired mood calm down. The land, the pure land on earth, on the hillside there is a Baishi Guanyin Bodhisattva carved in the stone mountain, and there are white gravel at the feet of Guanyin, glittering with colorful colors, good luck stone, hahaha.
This is a nice buddhist temple place to visit, it’s just 5-7 mins from the hotel where I stayed. An amazing marble statue of Kuan Yin on the hill and different small temples around the area. -free entrance -free parking -quite and peaceful (not crowded
Traveling in tropical countries, I have to say that their tropical fruits are really quite delicious. Especially durian, I have eaten in China once and feel not delicious, I have never eaten again, but the durian in Malaysia is really too far from China, it is too delicious. There are also lots of flowers here, eye opener
There are many shops in Gua Town to shop, and the price is not expensive. If you want to shop, you can go shopping. However, friends who visit parents and children are not recommended. The weather there is very hot, there is no place for children to play.
Gua Town is the main commercial location of Langkawi. Tourists can get duty-free goods here. Speedboats are available every day to and from Penang Island to the south, which is very convenient. There are different grades of accommodation in Gua Town and there are many dining options.
It's indeed a peaceful place. As always temples are amazing! It was just too hot, whatever time of the day you go there will be very very hot, but we've still enjoyed it. Managed to arrange one van...
You will need a car or taxi to arrive here. Fairly interesting temple and provides some good photography.
A quite place and not many people. A new temple is under construction and you can made some donations to help in the construction. Did a blessing by a monk inside the temple.
A quiet and peaceful place, we went there during early afternoon, there were just 2 people, very very few monks. The temple and the whole complex is just ok!
Didn't need long here to absorb and appreciate the place but it was well worth coming for a look. Very quiet... Didn't see a single other person there.
