The meeting decided to preserve strength, transfer to the rural areas of southern Hunan where the enemy's ruling power is weak, establish a rural revolutionary base, and take the revolutionary road of encircling the cities with rural areas and finally armedly seizing power in the country. On September 20, a mobilization conference of more than 1,500 members of the divisional forces was held at the playground of Wenjia City Liren School. Mao Zedong made an important speech. On September 21, Mao Zedong led the autumn harvest uprising troops to the direction of Tongxiang, and stayed in Tongxiang, Tongmu Town. On October 27, Mao Zedong led the autumn harvest uprising troops to Jinggangshan Ciping, and began the great struggle to create China's first rural revolutionary base - Jinggangshan revolutionary base.
