During the years of Churchill's service to the United Kingdom, there are many things to be thanked by the British. He stood firm during the difficult period of the two world wars. The statue stood in a prime location at the corner of Parliament Square, holding a cane and wearing a coat.
Winston Churchill's Britain at War Museum is great place 2 go.
This fascinating museum goes into great detail about the war, and life at the time. It is both informative and interesting for all ages.
Had to go twice, most facinating to see how it was the day WWII ended.
History buffs, I highly recommend you visit this site. You will not be disappointed.
This was one of my favorite sites visiting London. We picked a rainy day for going to the museum and it was so worth it. I knew Churchill was brilliant and a great leader but this museum covers so much more. There are interactive features, audio, video and even some of his original artworks. I could've been there all day.
