I found this memorial by accident on the corner of a junction. A great tribute to the Scottish pipers who bravely gave up theirs lives. A beautiful inscpription.
Fitting memorial to the brave sacrifice of the scots
moving and nice tribute to the Scottish regiments who fought for king and country. All Scots should feel a tear in the heart, and a sense of pride in what this represents.
But glad we did! Being from Scotland and having a father who was a piper, we were very pleasantly surprised to come across this memorial. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
