Fara Forsett, Marilyn Monroe, Heff...Frank Zappa has an unmarked tomb here. This place is very famous. All these former superstars rest here. Hollywood is forever amazing as well. I uploaded a video of a rock star graveyard at Jenu1 Entertainment in You Tube.
Pearce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park is a cemetery located in Westwood Village, Los Angeles. It is quite a small cemetery but for some of the big names in Hollywood it is the last resting place with Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Donna Reed, Jack Lemon, Dean Martin, Roy Obison, Don Notz, Eddie Albert, Eva Gabor and many other stars. Contrary to some of the reviews I read on other websites, you can't get a map from the office and don't go into the office and ask the staff where your favorite celebrity's grave is because talking to us this lady was rude. As Rodney Dangerfield said, it's like a block.
Xilin Memorial Park is a very famous cemetery in Los Angeles. It’s a good place to go with your partner. Everything is worth it. The park is beautifully built. This mini cemetery is half a block away from Wilshire Boulevard, so it’s hard to find .
beautiful for a cemetery..the above ground mausoleums are really impressive.. if i was a Pierce... would certainly claim the cemetery and maybe not so much so..the college...
Some of the most expensive real estate in the Southland that will never be developed. Why? Because of the people that live here now: Mel Torme, Dominique Dunne and Heather O'Rourke, Jack Lemmon AND Walter Matthau, Eva Gabor, Truman Capote, Dean Martin, of course Marilyn Monroe, and dozens of other recognizable names; in the words of one memorial bench, "sit down and have a chat" with them! Some people leave personal mementos or flowers, but it's not a requirement. The entrance is not well-marked.
Just a beautiful place to sit and reflect on those who were here before us and gave us so much entertainment. The chapel is a small, and private for family and loved ones to celebrate the lives of those who have come to these beautiful grounds to rest. The 911 Memorial is a wonderful memorial to those who lost their lives on that tragic day, including 4 of my fellow crewmembers.
At first it was hard to locate as it is wedge between a neighborhood and commercial highrise buildings.
