What travelers say:

I camped here a couple nights as part of a large group that was having a competition on the lake itself. The camping is "primitive,"; that is, generally, the nearest bathrooms to the campsites were outhouses, and not very clean ones. There are actually restrooms with toilets and showers that are about 50 to 100 yards away, depending on where one camps. Those were clean and fairly well maintained, as were others scattered around at the lake. The campsites we were at had both running water and electrical hook-ups; it was an interesting sight to see several phones hanging off the power outlets getting charged. Each campsite also had its own fire ring and table and enough room to park two vehicles, albeit tightly. We utilized the small boats for the event; they were about 14' long with small Tohatsu outboard motors that were easy to operate. Pontoon boats were also available to rent. Be foerwarned that there is no swimming allowed in the lake.
