This old crane is the focal point of a quant part of the old town in Luneburg. Nice bars in the area to sit and people watch.

Very beautiful part of Luneburg

Lovely place to look around and walk around, very scenic. Worth a visit if in Luneburg. The Crane it's self is very historic surrounded by cobbled streets

Having enjoyed a really interesting guided tour of Middle Age Lüneburg we eventually reached the old crane where students were shown how it worked.
