Lin Kai Temple

The Lianxi Temple has a history of more than 200 years since its establishment. Lianxi Temple is named after its location. The terrain of Macau resembles a lotus flower, so it is called Lotus Island. The road from the mainland to Macau is regarded as a lotus platform. At the end of the platform, there are mountains rising up, called Lotus Mountain, also known as Lotus Peak, the Sun of Lotus Peak, and there used to be a stream. It flows in the new bridge and is called Lianxi, and the temple is built on the right bank of the river, so it is called Lianxi Temple. This temple was built during the Daoguang period. It houses the gods Huaguang, Beidi, Caibo, and Wenchang. It has been destroyed, repaired and expanded several times. Today, the Xinqiao District where it is located has also developed from the former ocean to the prosperity of Macau. one of the regions.
