I was housesitting in Maroni and was told to bring the dogs here for a walk. However I was totally disgusted by finding so much garbage and dumped household/camping items - but worse still - human was...
What has happened here
Not so much as a beach anymore more like a bomb has exploded and devastated the area, not worth a visit.

Walk to the beach
Walk from Maroni village to the beach approximately 45 minutes, it is okay for a quick visit. There are sunbeds/shades on the beach and a snack bar if you want a drink/bite to eat. Did not think much ...
