Chenghuang Temple was built during the Yuan Dynasty to the Zheng Dynasty. According to the "Mengcheng County Zhi", it is located in Dongmen Lixiang Street, very close to the Confucian Temple in the west, only a Qinglong alley in the middle, adjacent to the East and Sanqingguan. It is now located in the middle of Xincheng Road, close to the Confucian Temple in the west, and close to the Qiyuan Hotel in the east. The temples of the city and the temple of Cishi are the most incense-filled temples.
