Zhuangzi Ancestral Hall

In the first year of Song Yuanfeng's reign (1078), Wang Jing, the magistrate of Mengcheng County, built the Zhuangzi Temple, and Su Shi wrote: "Zhuangzi is also a man, but he is a garden official in Mongolia. Those who are not more than a thousand years old and who do not have a temple, the county magistrate, Secretary Cheng Wang Jing began to build the ancestral hall, asking for a text to remember it...;...;." This ancestral hall was built on the former site of the Lacquer Garden on the north bank of the Wuhe River. The main buildings include Xiaoyaotang, Mengdielou, Guanyutai and so on. Every year, the sacrifice was never interrupted until it was submerged by floods during the Tianshun period of the Ming Dynasty. "The Ancestral Hall of Zhuangzi" is included in the "Complete Works of Su Dongpo". In the 8th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1580), the magistrate Wu Yiluan rebuilt the east gate of the county. The reconstructed Zhuangzi ancestral hall is huge and spectacular. There are Xiaoyaotang, Mengdielou, three canopies each, three Taoist houses, and one Yuchi Bridge. On the left is the Dream Butterfly Tower, and on the right is the Guanyu Terrace. Xiaoyao Hall is in the middle, and the statue of Zhuang Zhou is sculpted in the hall, and sacrifices are made every spring and autumn. In the 5th year of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty (1632), Li Shifang, the magistrate, rebuilt Xiaoyaotang, built the Wuxiao Pavilion, built the pond as the fish garden of Zhuangzi Hao Shangguan, and wrote a new book "The New Construction of Zhuangzi Temple", and the monument was erected in the temple. In front of the gate stands a stone tablet with a height of more than zhang, engraved with the four characters "Zhuang Zhou's hometown". The existing Zhuangzi Temple was newly built by Mengcheng County Government on the former site of Zhuangzi Temple in Song Dynasty, with a total area of 52 mu and a total construction area of 1086 square meters. The main buildings are Dasanmen, Yingbi, Shanmen, Xiaoyaotang, Guhengmen, Puchi, Wuxiaoting, Guantai, Guanyu Bridge, Mengdie Building, Nanhuajing Pavilion, East-West Stele Corridor, Taoist House, Guest House, etc. .
