Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion is located in Jingzhen Village, 14 kilometers outside Menghai County, Xishuangbanna. This pavilion was built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. It was mainly used for Buddhists to hold religious ceremonies. When local leaders want to study and decide important matters, they also make them here. Next to it is a Puti tree with lush branches and leaves.

Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion is located 14 km west of Jinghong, on Jingzhen Mountain in Menghai County. It is named after the mountain and is one of the important cultural relics in Xishuangbanna, built in 1701.

It is a brick-and-wood structure with an octagonal shape. The pavilion body has 31 inclined planes inlaid with colored glass and decorated with various floral patterns in gold and silver powder. The eight corners of the pavilion are adorned with sculptures of brightly colored exotic flowers. At the top sits a lotus canopy and a wind chime, which produces a pleasant sound when a breeze passes through.

On the mountaintop about 1 km to the north, a pagoda stands tall, facing it from a distance. Between the Jingzhen Buddhist Temple and the pavilion stands a massive ancient tree with a trunk so thick that it takes several people to embrace it, adding to the beautiful scenery here.
