Strange shape of rock.
Found this while running around Shimabara peninsula (100km+). Very difficult to approach the rock. Very strange shape of rock. Some says it looks like Moai statue.
As I went along National Highway 251, I saw a rock with a characteristic form on the sea side. Near the rock, there was a place where visitors could park their cars, so I took a commemorative photo that I couldn't meet. Perhaps it happened that there was no explanation board at the place where I parked the car, but the shape of the rock was unmistakable.
From the national highway running on the west bank of the Shimabara Peninsula, I could see the strange rocks standing in the sea. Depending on the angle, it looks like a person's face and a Moai statue. The lower part is solidified with mortar to protect the erosion of rocks, but it seems that it is still being eroded by the waves little by little. I think it's enough to visit the train window.
If you go south on the national highway from Obama to Kuchinotsu Port, you will see this rock on the coastline on the right side. In the northeastern part of Taipei, there are many objects similar to this rock.
It is said that you are running on a road along the sea in Minamishimabara. It's not as big as you can see in the photo, and if you don't look carefully, you may pass by.

If there are many, it's not like Taiwan.

Maybe it's too much if you don't be careful?
