    Little peace memorial

    Original Text

You can see the original statue of that statue in Nagasaki Peace Memorial Park. It is a quiet and scenic place. I enjoyed it unexpectedly if I went without expecting it in Minamishimabara, where there are few places to go sightseeing. The original memorial statue has become a good story.

There is a small statue of Nagasaki Peace Prayer (Nishimosaku).

    Original Text

Unfortunately, the day I visited was a closed day, but I was able to appreciate the statue of Nishimosaku such as a peace prayer statue on the premises. A nearby nursery school child came to the adjacent park for an excursion. You can see the sea under your eyes and the view is also wonderful.

See the history of Nishimochi Kitamura.

    Original Text

A sculptor who made a statue of Heiwa Park in Nagasaki. Mr. Nishinobo's sculptures are scattered in the Minamishimabara region, and there is a memorial hall in Shimabara Castle. The history of Mr. Nishinobo's artists is exhibited inside. It seems that he was never an elite artist. Each exhibit appeals to his heart through the background of the times.

Great place with a view overlooking Amakusa

    Original Text

I visited nearby for business, but I stopped by in between. There was a small statue of the statue of Nagasaki Peace Memorial Park in the place where Nishinobo Kitamura's birthplace was located. There are exhibits in Nishinobo's memorial hall, but the view is wonderful. It was a wonderful place overlooking the ruins of Hara Castle and the Amakusa Island.

You can also enjoy the view of Amakusa Island 々 across Shimabara Bay.

    Original Text

The birthplace of the sculptor, Nishinobu Kitamura, who made a statue of peace in Nagasaki and was active until 102, is maintained as a memorial hall (charged) and a garden as a park (free). In the park, you can enjoy sculptures of 13 points such as the hina shape of the peace prayer statue (1/4 size) and the statue of the Holy Kanzeon Bodhisattva. The location is on the hill of Minami Arima Town, and the Ariake Sea (Shimabara Bay) spreads in front of you, and you can see Amakusa Island 々 ahead, but it was cloudy when I visited the other day, and unfortunately it was not suitable for photography. Calligraphy and paintings are exhibited in the memorial hall ...
