During the COVID crisis you will need to call ahead and reserve a tour time. It is well worth the time to see hawks, eagles and other predators.. Mammals and reptiles are also residents at the Center

For Nordic skiing, nicely kept trails and lots of wind-sheltered areas.

We've only been to the Center in January for the last three years, so our experience is X-C ski related only. But we love the site and recommend it highly.
