    Run down, needs TLC

    A few blocks further than independence square Fabini square has a good statue, a rather grubby bit of water round it and surrounded by some half dead unkempt grass. several what I presume were homel...

    On a summer day, relax in the shade

    This is one of Montevideo's friendly city square parks. Lovely to relax in for a while. On weekend nights, there is dancing in the front of the square, with live music (milonga).

    One interesting square

    This is an interesting square as you walk on avenida 18 julio. The buildings around it are very beautiful art nouveau examples.

    Fountain nearby Independence Plaza

    This fountain is slightly a distance from the Independence Plaza. This plaza is a surely a great for an evening stroll especially for kids.

    Very beautiful

    A nice park to stroll and relax in. You can enjoy the pretty fountain too. A nice place for photos. A good place for a picnic.
