Also known as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, entrance into the museum is always free (except for special collections which require a fee). Enjoy browsing the museum’s extensive collections of paintings, sculpture, glass, furniture and porcelain. See some of the great masters such as Bruegel, Rembrandt, Cezanne, Rodin, Matisse, El Greco and the incomparable Picasso. Take a break from the masterpieces and enjoy a light bite to eat in the Petit Café or, if you desire something more substantial, try the Bistro which was given a four-star review by Voir. If you plan on stopping by, check the website for admission times and please note the museum is closed on Mondays.
