It is a Tenjin Shrine built in 1791. It's on a slightly elevated mountain, so I came to my feet a lot. It is designated as a tangible folk cultural property in Nagoya, and the annual festival is said to be held lively.
It is a quiet shrine in the old townscape of Arimatsu. When I went up the stairs, there was a dignified space surrounded by greenery. My heart was washed by the fact that Arimatsu is a venerable shrine that has been around for a long time.
It is a lush shrine with trees overgrown. The stairs to the main shrine are long, but when you climb up, you will see a small space. It's an atmosphere that doesn't matter if there is a Totoro. A Marche was held just in time for the Arimatsu Aperture Festival.
The atmosphere that is decaying with a nice feeling of seeing this shrine will heal your heart. After all, this shrine enshrines Sugawara no Michizane. It seems that the cow sitting next to the main hall also plays the role of a guardian god.

I feel history.
