Introduction
The Belvedere Castle is a building in New York City, United States, located in Manhattan's Central Park. There are exhibition rooms and observation decks in the castle. Belvedere Castle has also been home to the Central Park Weather Station since 1919. The building combines Gothic and Romanesque architectural styles. The castle was briefly closed in the 1960s after the weather station was relocated from the castle to Rockefeller Center. After 1983, the castle was opened to the public again.
